Playtime with Daddy & Bailey

We have been having a lot of family fun time at home the last few days - and even have pictures to go with it!

Peanut Butter smiles!

Molly loves to give Bailey her treats!

The girls!
Lots of love (and tolerance!) :)

Outdoor fun with friends!!!

We have had a few days of strange weather - rain, then no rain, but not really sunny, etc. It has made for some very antsy children in the neighborhood! So the other day, during a semi-sunny spell, and after nap-time, we had an impromptu play date at the Sheng's!
That was not the only "impromptu" thing! The kids - Molly, Renzo & Joshua, decided that the puddles would not only be fun to stomp in, but sit in, lay in, splash in...well, you get the idea!
It was hysterical, and all 3 ended up in just their diapers!

This little car is supposed to be used in the pool, but Molly didn't mind just sitting in it and getting sprayed by the sprinkler right next to her.

Renzo was diggin' it too!

Renzo and Joshua taking on the puddle!

Molly "helping" Joshua with the fire truck
(she was the last one in the puddle, but the first one down to just her diaper...hmm :))

All 3 of them thought being "in" the puddle was much for fun that standing in it!

The result - the Three Musketeers in their diapers!!!

May Re-Cap

Okay - so I have been remiss with my blogging. To make up for it, here are some photos from the month of May - we had a great time with Molly's friends and a road trip through North Carolina down to Georgia to visit our friends in Savannah & Tybee Island.
Enjoy!!!

Molly got to enjoy the spoils of her first lollipop from the bank...

Think she liked it???

Molly decided she wanted to pretend to talk to Lexie on the phone...

Meg - if this is any indication of our future, we may need to get a family plan - this "conversation" went on for a looooonnnngggg time :)

Playtime with Renzo
(even Bailey joined in)

Ah, the diaper box - endless entertainment for Molly & her Dad

Checking out the beach on Tybee Island

Some pre-water fight fun before the Tybee Island Beach Bum Parade
(which is an island-wide water fight - something to DEFINITELY check out)

Molly playing in the water with Katy and her Daddy

Katy brought her kayak to the beach - Molly liked sitting it in AND out of the water!
It made for a great way to transport her to and from the beach too - courtesy of her Daddy

Molly was very excited to try a frosty beverage...

and experienced her first "brain-freeze"!

She also experienced crawfish for the first time...

She was VERY amused!

Molly got to play with Molly Woods - and they had a really good time!

Aunt Pat brought out lots of hats for the girls to play with

Clara really liked the cowboy hat

Molly met baby Carsen for the first time and was completely enamored with her!
She wanted to hold her and tuck her in, and make sure Carsen was always looked after.

There was tickle time...

and LOTS of kisses!!!

Walt was a BIG hit with his elephant noises :)

Molly kept wanting to sit on the bed next to Jo

3 generations of Mitchell's - Jo, Mandie, & Carsen

Molly had SO much fun in Georgia - she can't wait to go back!!!
(same with Mom & Dad :))

Bathtub Fun!

Molly is a BIG fan of bathtime!
Here are a few pictures of her in the tub playing with her toys!

Molly is all smiles despite the bump from her faceplant earlier that day (Meg - I think she's trying to match Lexie with the head bumps :))

Yup - she likes the dolphins just like her MaMa

All Clean!

Let's go to the Zoo!

Molly & I headed off to the Philadelphia Zoo where we met up with my friend Dana and her daughter Addison!  Molly really got a kick out of seeing the animals - just like the ones she has seen in her books (Thanks to her Aunt Debbie, Uncle Mike, Marissa & Spencer).  It was a VERY hot day, but that did not dampen the fun factor!

When Molly first saw the gorilla, it was like she turned around and said "Seriously?"

"Look Addie - Gorillas!  Pass it on!"
"Look Ryan - Gorillas!"

Molly sat right down next to this Gorilla and started carrying on a very full (although one-sided) conversation.

Dana & I tried to get "the perfect" picture - their so stinkin' cute they are all perfect to us :)

Molly & Addie sharing a laugh

After seeing the "real" gorillas inside, Molly was VERY unsure of the statue outside - she could not be convinced it was not real.

Molly checking out the zebras!

Posing for a picture before we headed back to the car!
(Thanks for the picture Dana!)
